We celebrated European Day of Languages with the whole eTwinning society using the motto "Save our planet" in as many as possible languages :) from collected posters we will create a joint collection
HOW CAN I HELP PLANET EARTH?: Students will learn about the three R’s of recycling: REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE. We are superheroes, and we can do small actions (not only at school but also at home) to save the planet. Schools - classes will organise in pairs and will create messages about the three R’s (for example: At school, we reuse plastic bottles and turn them into bird feeders). All the messages will be upload by students in our PENZU diary
We start to RECYCLE!: Here we must explain our students WHAT IS RECYCLING; Students will make a poster with each container: BLUE (paper), YELLOW (plastic and cans) and GREEN (organic rubbish) and they learn about the things you must put into each one. For this activity, we can create a BOARD at school with the posters of our students.Teachers will take pictures and we will create a presentation. Thanks to eager Spanish students who created some wonderful and amazing products from waste, Polish and Romanian did the same. They organised the exhibitions at schools. They learnt how to use old paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and other things to make sth useful :)
SPAIN
Students
have prepared a RECYCLING BOARD. They have made posters about Earth's
Day and they have prepared Paper, Glass and Plastic Containers. We have learnt the meaning of the 3R's. Our classroom looks beautiful with this Dashboard!
Spanish
students have made posters with their WORD CLOUDS about Earth's Day
celebration. They have made a lot of games, toys and useful objects
using recycled materials.
POLAND
Our
recycling boards - a poster, sorting waste on the blackboard, a man
divided into two parts - a bad and a good one, as a man is responsible
for the environment and can do good and bad things, because of that one
part of the poster presents good environment and the second one polluted
environment.
After our May holiday we are going to organise an exhibition with products created from waste :)
- Students made a list of GREEN RULES to share with other project partners and decided (all together) the GREEN RULES of our project. Students will think about GREEN RULES AT SCHOOL and GREEN RULES AT HOME.
- For European Day of languages students translated chosen six green rules into all project languages, each country was responsible for creating a wordcloud with one of the rules and then we all created a common poster in Canva.
COMMON POSTER
All products created with GREEN RULES are collected in our e-book
- Choose an area near your city / village of environmental importance to protect. Students will ellaborate a presentation using a DIGITAL TOOL such as PIKTOCHART. We will share those presentations and show our students so they can know about it. I will organize it so we'll interchange presentations by pairs (for example: Spain- Poland).
- In small groups (we can organize groups with students from different countries) students will make a QUESTIONNAIRE about the presentation they have seen.
